We have done 2 previous Scenic cruises ( Rhine and Rhone) , loved the experience and Bordeaux sounded like fun.
Due to a high water level due to heat winter snow, we were not able to go upriver from Bordeaux, so we were docked their for a couple of extra days and bused to the excuses that were up river. We were sometimes double parked with other ships and they all looked more tired and not as elegant as the Diamond..
The ship and Sapphire level balcony suite were as expected, modern and well designed.

Cabin Sapphire Balcony
The cabins are roomy with a comfortable bed and lots of storage. The bathroom is well sized with a terrific shower. The unique Scenic bacon setup with the retractible power glass window is wonderful when the weather is not ideal ( as we encountered with some rainy days.)
