We had such a spectacular time on our 1st Alaskan Cruise Tour that thet we came back again and brought the granddaughter for her high school Senior Trip . She had never been west and was mesmerized by the beautiful scenery. I let Princess do airfare, and prepaid all gratuities. Also purchased the soda and more pkg. Paid for alcohol as I went. Plan on 2 or 3 days extra for Seattle before the cruise begins. The value of a cruise can't be beat! The food was AMAZING in the 2 main dining rooms and very good on the buffets. Make sure to book SOMETHING at each port or you will only see t-shirts and gifts good. We chose shore excursions priced for our budget and really saw a lot of good scenery. Rode bikes in Juneau and HIGHLY recommend Yukon Suspension Bridge tour in Skagway. Long day on bus- but we did SO much. Even rode a summer dogsled pulled by this year's Iditarod winners!
The economic cabin was perfect. Small, but we definitely got value. The pull down bed was perfect for our needs. Our teen grand daughter navigated the top bunk.
ALL the beds were very comfy. We could also control the heat and air in our cabin. Our steward kept the room clean and straight.
