The ship and itinerary matched the experience I was looking for. Stayed in Crown Loft Suite. I think this is the best suite/room I have stayed in on any ship. I like the ports of call with Nassau being the least favorite. Would have rather spent a day in Labadee or Cocoa Cay instead of Nassau. The amount of time in Nassau is too short to enjoy the expensive water park at Atlantis and too long if you are just in the market area. The rest of the island is pretty sketchy. Saint Thomas and Saint Marten are recovering from the hurricanes steadily and are great ports of call. Tivi resort in Saint Marten was a great place to spend the day. Clean bathrooms, restaurants, shops and bars. Good selection of water sports as well.

The Oasis is now my favorite class of ship. The only suggestion is to add water slides (on Oasis itself) for the kids like other ships have. Dining at Coastal kitchen and access to the concierge lounge made the cost for a loft suite hold more value. Complimentary drinks throughout the day and evening was also a bonus. Main dining room was good and having other complimentary dining such as park cafe was a nice change. Wi-Fi was also included and worked better on board this ship than it had on others. Always enjoy the on board entertainment, quality performances by very talented individuals. Overall it was a great vacation and we were blessed with great weather and flat seas. I highly recommend the Sky class suite experience if you can get a decent deal. Though it isn't cheap it comes with many perks and advantages. The drawback is once you have experienced this level (or higher like Star class), you wont want to go back. Its the difference of flying first class VS coach, except you live it 24-7 for a week.

Cabin Review

Crown Loft Suite with Balcony

Cabin L1

I love the loft suite on the Oasis class ship. It is unique for a cruise ship. It was very open and airy. having two bathrooms was a luxury with kids on tow, Second floor shower is huge. Also a nice dressing area and lots of closet space. The large balcony with complimentary binoculars and lounge chairs was great. The AC worked well and even kept the upper loft area cool mid-day. What a great piece of engineering this class of ship is.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

traveled to Cocoa Beach a day before and stayed at the Hilton. Very nice beach and hotel.

St. Thomas

Love the port of Saint Thomas. Megans Bay is always relaxing.

St. Maarten

I liked Saint Marten the best. Tivi resort was a great place to spend the day. It has all the amenities you need and was clean.
