Aeiger was always spotless. Dining was great and never had a repeat of meals. Of course, you could always order a steak or chicken but no reason to because the food was great just off the menu. Food service was nice and relaxed and plenty of refills on wine, beer, tea, coffee, etc. Good choices of excursions. Easy on and off unlike on a large cruise ship. Each trip includes a wireless device that connects to a microphone that each local guide has. This allows very easy group travel. You no longer have to strain to hear your guide because the guide is in your ear leaving you free to photograph and linger for a couple minutes as the guide moves forward. Evening entertainment was nice, not a big production like on a large cruise ship but certainly intimate. The entertainers will know you by the end of the cruise. Good introduction nightly to your next day's destination. Viking seems to be able to bypass the crowds on the day and evening trips. Private concert in Vienna opera house for Viking guests. VIP entry in castles, museums, vineyards. Price fairly for what you get in return. Exceeded my expectations. I have already booked another cruise with Viking.

Cabin Review

Veranda Stateroom

Cabin B

Cabin was always neat and clean. Great service at all times. Comfortable and quiet. It was great that there was always bottled water. Bed was nice. Efficient use of all space. Plenty of drawer space and bed was high enough off the floor to slide both suitcases. Room was near the back of the ship so the wifi was weak. Not really a problem because if I really wanted wifi I could go to a lounge.
