I was travelling with my 90 year old mother and they take such good care of her that I won't take her on any other cruise line with her. The Silver Spirit had been renovated and most changes were great. There was several restaurants and I found all of them to be quite good. The food was consistently tasty and the service was wonderful. The concept of a butler with every cabin is just plain magnificent. I had the best butler I've ever had and it was really like having a personal valet. I went on several shore excursions and they were all well organized and on time with no waiting in a lounge for long times waiting for the bus. The spa was wonderful and better managed than those run by Canyon Ranch. I have cruised with Regent Seven Seas, Viking Ocean, American Cruise Line and Star Clipper. Silver Sea definitely give the best value and exquisite service.

Cabin Review

Vista Suite

Cabin VI

Even though this cabin was one of the least expensive, it was lovely. It was bright and roomy. It was fairly cool at all of our destinations so no need for a veranda. The new design of the bathroom was attractive but the sink sprayed water everywhere every time you used it. The faucet was on the side of the sink so functionality was compromised. A warning - there is one electrical outlet that is 220. It was no marked and I ended up burning up a hair dryer when I used it. The other outlet was 110 and was fine.
