Chosen because of the locations visited, Nice extension, great hotel location, I have highly recommended to everyone I have shared about my trip. The included and optional shore excursions were wonderful. Met some great friends who we will stay in touch with and visit once home.I look forward to another Viking cruise in the future...cannot wait...am already looking over the mailings. The Viking staff was there for you from the time you land at the airport until they put you on the plane to go home....felt very safe and personally cared for. The meal choices in the dining room were fun and the food was awesome....loved the personal service each meal....the outdoor terrace Aquavit was perfect for a sunny lunch or breakfast and a great spot to lounge in while sailing. Loved the daily information provided each evening detailing the next days activities and even included a city map of the places each stop so we could break off on our own to visit the markets or cafes and really experience the area casually at our own pace when appropriate and when time permitted.
