We enjoyed our on board experience but were VERY DISAPPOINTED with several of the excursions and especially the paid-for excursions.
My main reason for this trip was to see Berlin. We took the "Historic Berlin" tour for $418 for both of us. We wanted to see the Wall, the Brandenburg Gate, and go to the American Allies Museum which were all included on this tour. We saw the Wall and the Brandenburg Gate and several other "drive-by" monuments before lunch. After lunch all we had left was the Allied Museum. As we were arriving at the museum, our guide told us we had 15 minutes to see it. 15 MINUTES!! Obviously we really couldn't really absorb the details there and we were really disappointed. Then we spent 30 minutes at a souvenir store on the "Kdam." Perhaps we could have spent 30 minutes at the museum and 15 minutes at the store.
We paid for and took the "Trail of the Vikings" tour in Stavanger, Norway. This tour was so bad for so many reasons, Viking refunded half of the money immediately to several who took the tour. We should have received all of it back.

Cabin was amazing -- heated bathroom floor, veranda, and great storage.

Spent 3 hours on a bus with a guide who put most of us to sleep. Best part of the tour was having cappuccino at a small cafe near the market square.
