We decided on a cruise around Britain departing on the 7th April for my partners birthday on the 19th when we returned home .I have to say we were very- very disappointed with every aspect except the cabin as it was spacious for a small ship .The food was like a load of cardboard at breakfast in the upstairs bistro ( if you could obtain a seat ) often undercooked and only warm with no small yogurts only in dishes with no indication as to the content even in the restaurant it was a bit hit and miss as you sat any where as a lot of the fellow passengers seemed reluctant to talk as only the Americans & Canadians seemed chatty as the class structure is still alive . At night in the allocated restaurant the servers were very surly with very small helpings and often only warm as my partner sent hers back nearly every time compared to other ships it was very poor more like a cross channel ferry .
As for the entertainment it did not last even an hour with passengers saving seats often rows of them so only the poorest seats available with no interaction with the crew as I did mention the seat situation but it was met with deaf ears .Talking of the crew we noticed that there was very poor communication skills as I did not meet one British person wearing a uniform it seemed the norm just to laugh at the passengers and they would go away. There are better cruise companies and ships so do your home work.
Very nice and spacious and kept very clean but I have to say very nois,y at night time early hours a lot of heavy metal noise compared to other ships also foreign nationals making loads of noise realy late at night .
