This was my second cruise on the Magic and I don’t really have any complaints. The ships is beautiful and the staff is attentive and friendly. Our Cabin steward Samsul was excellent and greeted us by name and with a big smile EVERY time he saw us. Cruise Director Cookie was high energy and very entertaining, would go out of my way to book a sailing with him in the future.
Ship was sold out but other than the breakfast rush it didn’t really feel overcrowded. The new embarkation process is a huge improvement, from arrival at port to sitting on the ship was 10-15 minutes max. Goes smooth now that you skip the check in desk and sail and sign cards are waiting in the mailbox by your cabin.
Will say the 16 yo old we had with us found the teen club to be a little on the “adult” side with far too much grinding and general overly sexual behavior without much intervention from staff. After the first 2 nights she just hung out with her new friends other places and avoided the club.
Easily my favorite class of cabin. Love being close to the water and the cove balconies offer far more privacy than the upper decks. They also stay shaded most of the time by the lifeboats which makes them pleasant to sit on any time of day.
The cabin is decently spacious, about the same as any other similar class of cabin in the industry. The door to our adjoining cabin, 2342 made things easy for the 4 of us.
