We can't come up with anything negative to say at all about this cruise. It was our first river cruise--so didn't have much to compare it to, other than what we've heard people say. The cabin was extremely comfortable, with a view that made movement from one location to another perfect. The dining was exceptional, and the staff treated us wonderfully. Embarkation and disembarkation was easy. The evening gathering where we were informed of activities for the following day were helpful. The excursions we participated in were conducted very profesionally, were informative, and on-time. Transportation off the ship to the various excursions was smooth, and it was extremely nice that they had us back to the ship for lunch for a nice break before we headed for our afternoon outings. We look forward to more river cruises with Avalon Waterways and would highly recommend this cruise line to our friends and family.
