Extraordinary service, great food, interesting tours, great tour guides. The luxury of the service and the richness of the excursions exceeded all our expectations. First of all, the special deal offered was exceptional - two for one plus free air flight. This allowed us to budget in additional excursions and features. The usage of local individuals as tour guides was very impressive. With each one it was evident that they took pride in their city and country, and had fully prepared themselves with the necessary information to offer an enjoyable and educable experience. We had not anticipated on-board entertainment and were pleased with the offerings- especially the glass-blowing and the classical duo. The small number of passengers gave a pleasant sense of familiarity early on and gave opportunity to meet and become acquainted with some very nice and interesting individuals. The upkeep of the boat was exceptional and the caring and attentive manners of the service staff provided an exquisitely clean surrounding and a feel of warm personal touch. We will certainly plan another Viking Cruise.
