Fortunately, we had a great group of friends to travel with because numerous issues, some uncontrollable (e.g. weather), some very controllable yet handled poorly.
The first thing we did was visit the spa to book massages for my wife and I. We found out that you do not have access to the spa unless you pay to have access for the week. The "tour" of the spa was nothing more than a number of sales pitches for the week long access and other products they were selling. Eventually my wife kept the appointment even though she had to sit in the waiting area before the massage and returned to the cabin right afterward. I cancelled mine a few days before because it didn't sound like the experience I was hoping for.
They changed ships on us right before the cruise and as a result moved the cabin much further forward on the ship resulting in a very small space. We didn't spend a lot of energy trying to move to another room as we didn't plan on spending much time in the cabin.
Tight quarters. Only had about 12 inches on either side of the bed. Room service was pretty uncomfortable and I would probably skip trying to do that in the little cabin. Cabin steward was pleasant and kept the place clean.
This was our embarkation city and we spent very little time here. Wish we could return for visit of the city.
Not really a port. Really glad they opened up the bow of the ship. The glaciers were amazing.
We were whisked off to our 3 night land tour so we didn't get to see Seward.
