We Choose this cruise because the departure port was convenient and the itinerary looked interesting.

The ship, despite its age was fine, as was our cabin. The food was good, although the chefs seemed to regard vegetables as something rare and precious.

But even at 70 I felt a generation too young when compared to my fellow passengers many of whom were in their 90's. And many more acted as though they were. Queueing for a buffet seemed to confuse most of them, and getting into a tender, even for those fit enought to attempt it, was a slow and laboriouis process.
