This was our 9th Royal Caribbean cruise and we were once again very happy with absolutely everything on the ship and the excursions. We're a young 40's couple traveling without kids and had a wonderful time on board and at the ports of call. Royal Caribbean always provides great food (never tried the pay extra restaurants) and great service and great quality rooms. We splurged a bit and got a balcony room for this trip because it's Alaska! SO so worth it! The entertainment wasn't as good as on the Oasis class ships, but it was still fun. The only complaints were with the piano bar being super sleepy slow music, and the Pub singer not actually just singing and entertaining. The Pub singer kept making every night a karaoke style event where he'd make someone get up and sing with him. It was really awkward... Other than that though it was a vacation of a lifetime. The pool was heated too! You could swim comfortably even with 47F weather. The hot tubs and outdoor movies were so fun. We didn't think we'd want to do that, but once in the hot tub, it was a beautiful setting to watch a movie on a really nice LCD quality jumbo tron. So Fun!
Great room and even better balcony! The views were great through the lower glass panel, and even better when you stand up and look above the railing. The TV was nice, the beds were nice, the couch was great, and everything was super clean!
