The Check In: We were greeted at the airport in Seattle by a Carnival Cruise representative who directed us to a holding area. Our luggage was taken and were told it would be at our room. Let me tell you something. Carnival Cruises has check in down pat. We loaded a bus, went to the ship, and there was our first buffet. Room access is not granted until 1:30.
From our ship The Legend, we took stunning pictures of Seattle. It i a beautiful city with its busy ports and marinas.
Our room attendant was very good. Room was kept clean and once requested ice, it was provided daily. The shower was a nice hot shower with good water pressure.
Seattle is a definite visit again. It was a beautiful city. We took many pictures of harbors and marinas
we chose to walk the city and visit the many shops. It was nice but the usual over load of Jewelry Stores offering a "free" charm. The local shops were nice but a lot of Alaskan memories were "Made In China".
We advise you to book a tour here. What we saw was a very clean and elegant city. The Fisherman's Wharf was a village of floating homes with a price point of $300,000 plus $800.00 month for mooring privileges. We ate Fish and Chips and were pleased we finally ate something worth the money.
