A friend chose the cruise for us, and we are glad he did. We had a wonderful time! We started in Seattle and explored downtown the whole day before our cruise. We headed to port Sunday morning, and we were so excited to see our ship. The Pearl is a beautiful ship, with a very friendly and professional crew. Our vacation can be divided into two parts: on the ship and off the ship. Being on the ship was amazing and exciting with plenty to do and lots of good food to eat. We spent our time with our travel friends, eating good food, walking the decks, watching people, and taking advantage of some of the many daily activities. Our balcony stateroom was comfortable and a great place to watch the landscape change every day. Off the ship presented so many wonderful activities, from watching a pod of over 10 orca whales swimming beside the boat to seeing a bald eagle swoop down to the water to retrieve his dinner. We ate delicious Dungeness crab for breakfast one day and freshly grilled salmon for lunch another. The tour guides on every excursion were knowledgeable and friendly and happy to answer all of our questions. The embarkation was easy and the disembarkation even easier! We were off the ship within minutes of leaving our cabin. Overall, our cruise was a trip of a lifetime and was one of our best experiences ever! We are definitely planning on a second Norwegian cruise in the near future.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

Our stateroom was comfortable and clean. The bed was cozy and easy to sleep in. We loved our towel animals! The shower was great...we're both tall and the shower head was positioned up high. The water pressure was perfect. And there was plenty of storage in our cabin.

Port Reviews

Glacier Bay

We were able to view all sides of the bay and our cruise ship did three 360 degree turns. From our stateroom balcony I got some awesome footage of Marjerie Glacier calving!
