We were celebrating our anniversary. Embarkation at the Port Canaveral Pier was easy with no hassles or delays. A far better experience than the first cruise we took a few years ago. The service we received on board was excellent! Our cabin attendant was always very cheerful and extremely helpful providing assistance throughout our voyage. We cannot say enough about the wait staff in the American Icon Dining Room. They exceeded our expectations every night. We felt welcomed every time we dined there and they even remembered our names. That's quite a feat considering how many people they serve on a daily basis. The excursions were fun as well. However, we were very dissappointed with the 5 Star Island Tour in St. Thomas. The staff at Magen's Bay (gift shop/restaurant/bar) were rude and unaccommodating. They had beach umbrellas but refused to rent them even though it was a very hot day. They had negative attitudes toward the guests and service was very slow. The beach was beautiful but until the vendor enhances their customer service, I would not recommend this excursion. Other than that, we had a great experience on this sailing!
