This was our first river cruise (we have done multiple ocean cruises) and it exceeded our expectations. We sailed the Rhine River from Amsterdam, Netherlands to Basel, Switzerland.

We loved the layout of the ship and the ease of moving about. We occupied a veranda stateroom which is adequate in size, well appointed and very clean. We appreciated being able to sit on the veranda at the end of the day or between tours.

Every crew member was friendly and helpful when asked a question. For some reason, I had thought the cruise might be a little 'stuffy', but it was absolutely not. The crew were engaging and fun from the first moment to the last. Read more
