Normally when one thinks of cruise ships, one congers up images of fine dining, wonderful food and excellent entertainment. Sadly none of this was available. Six of us boarded the ship star Virgo along with 994 other Indian passengers. We were so looking forward to siting down to a lovely meal and catching up with each other. We were served Indian food on an orange plastic tray with compartments which you expect to get in the Army or a hospital. After watching the people eat with their hands we wanted to eat in one of the pay restaurants, but it was not open to guests, only transient guests. Most of us went to bed without any dinner. The rooms were nice and clean but I did not enjoy driving backwards. To avoid the mass feeding frenzy on the second night we decided to eat in the Japanese restaurant which I must say was very nice. We ordered 4 meals for the 6 of us and it came to $450 almost as much as 1 cruise ticket! That evening we went to the show but were disturbed by the late comers that would not sit down 2 rows in front of us. The fresh air and scenery were lovely but when 1 group dominates the entire ship it no longer becomes relaxing for others. I deeply regretted going.
