We chose this cruise because it travelled to countries we thought we'd enjoy viewing along the Danube/ Main/ Rhine Rivers, and we were not disappointed to say the least. We thoroughly enjoyed the city tours and found them quite worthwhile. All the extra excursions were excellent, except for one of the castle tours which we felt was not as good. As well, when not on an extra excursion, it was great to walk into the towns and do our own thing, or simply stay on the ship and relax.
The ship and crew were overly accommodating and welcoming. They took every opportunity to help, entertain, direct, or simply chit chat with us, always trying to satisfy all of our wants and needs. The food was amazing! You could order a la carte, or buffet for lunches and breakfasts. Dinners always had a variety of great choices that were often regional specialties made it difficult to decide. Coffee and tea available anytime as well.
At night, there was always something going on.... entertainment, presentations about the regions, or just enjoying a drink with dance and music.
We were in the lower level... convenient and easily accessible, but not the best view if any. However, we didn"t spend much time in the cabin. During free time we were often in the lounge areas with most other people. Rooms were always cleaned and tidied a few times throughout the day. It was small as expected, but certainly efficiently organized to be very a great space for our stay.
