This cruise was awful. The ships decor looked like an old Las Vegas casino. Horrible and outdated. Our room was dingy and very small. Cigarette burns in the furniture. The bed felt like a board with a blanket on it for padding. The food was really bad. All carbs in the Windjammer. Nothing in the food was outstanding. We purchased deluxe drink packages yet very little good quality alcohol was available. You have to sign a receipt for every drink you purchase. So you spend several hours in bar and still have to sign each receipt.
The description of excursions was not what we got. We rented two bungalows...$600.00 a piece. it indicated that we would have waiters and that food would be served there. we had no waiters...had to walk down beach to bar. and lunch was the same. and OMG the food was horrible. The hamburgers they served were soaking in water precooked and thrown on the grill when you ordered them to warm them up. Some seafood was served and would not eat... was not cooked completely. Then,
We went to Nassau for a port of call. We expected to shop and eat lunch in a restaurant. It was a slum! beggars and continued harassment walking down the street sidewalk. Every shop had the same crap. We and everyone else that went to the town turned around and went back to the ship for safety.
Horrible. Cigarette burns in furniture. Couch was dingy...looked dirty. mirrors in room losing the reflection around edges. Hair dryer had a short in it... had to bang on counter to get to work. No outlets...the whole room had two usable outlets. The bed was like sleeping on floor. hard as rock. Light in shower did not work. there was a cloth clothes line in the shower!
Closet filled with life preservers. No room. We had a small refrigerator in a cabinet...did not get cold at all. Safe in room quit opening. We had to get customer service in to reset it and open it.
port is horrendous. Walking in town was terrible. Continuous hollering at you to come in their shops, all shops were the same. very sad.
