My husband and I wanted a 7 day cruise that we could celebrate our 5th year anniversary on. My brother and his wife joined us to also celebrate their anniversary and my sister-in-law’s birthday. It was very convenient for us to leave from Fort Lauderdale because we live in Miami. The process of embarking on the ship was very smooth and the staff was welcoming and accommodating from the time we stepped on the ship. We are until our hearts were content. We enjoyed speciality dining at Chops Grille and Giovanni’s table. Both restaurants were delectable! They even sang happy birthday to my sister-in-law and happy anniversary to my husband and I! We also needed to change one of our reservations and they did it without a problem! Our shore excursions were full of excitement and thrill! We did ziplining in Honduras and ATV riodong in Costa Maya. We booked our excursions through Royal Caribbean and it was great! We had soooo much fun! In Cozumel we did a tour of some Mayan Ruins and a beach day. The tour was ok but we made up for it at the beach where we went kayaking and ate local Mexican food and drank Margaritas! On board we enjoyed the clubs during the late night hours and the various activities such as rock climbing, ice skating and ziplining. We also attended the aqua show and Mama Mia! We tried our luck in the casino and I treated my sister-in-law to a spa experience! I tried not to stray too far off of my diet by using the wonderful gym facilities that was on board as well! To say that we had a good time is truly an understatement! I did not want to get off of the ship but as the old cliche says “all good things must come to an end.” I can’t wait to go on my next Royal Caribbean cruise!
