We had a wonderful time on our recent Oasis of the Seas 7 Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise with our two sons aged 14 and 11. Ports of call were St. Maarten, San Juan Puerto Rico and Labadee Haiti. This was our 5th cruise with Royal (3 on Freedom of the Seas, 1 on Enchantment) and our first on Oasis. The ship is just massive and beautiful. We loved sailing Freedom and Oasis did not disappoint.

Have patience on day 1, like any cruise, because it is chaotic and crowded. I was actually worried at first because it was so much more crowded than Freedom was. But after day 1 everything was great! Including the pool deck. I mean it was crowded but we were still able to enjoy the pool and lay on chairs but not as bad as what some other reviewers said. I would say it was very similar to Freedom on the sea days.

The Windjammer was very crowded at meal times (breakfast more so than any other mealtimes from what we saw and there was a line waiting to enter as tables were cleared if you arrived during peak times) but there are so many other options for breakfast around the ship that are all included (main dining room, Johnny Rockets, Park Cafe, Solarium Bistro) that we just didn't go back to Windjammer and it was fine.
