Did land tour 3 days prior to the ship. Land tour was very busy the big event..Denali could not be seen, but a lot of other animals were seen and the scenery is breathtaking.
Ship is older but everything worked fine the food was very good, as we all expected. The entertaiment in the theater was the singers and dancers and one man singer so nothing much but the entertainment around the ship was good, it just seemed that the entertaiment stopped too early.
Casino was good to me, but the casino was pretty empty all the time, the bar at the casino had no TV, so no sports at the casino maybe this was the problem.
typical but to add being in Alaska TV was much better
The Captain Cook hotel is excellent, food and staff, gift shopes are all excellent
The ship had a naturalist and they gave historic facts, and explained the colors of the ice
July4, went into the city viewed the city parade and then to Tracys Crab Shack....a little price but a fun place and the food is excellent
Ride to the airport was very scenic...the airport is slow in handling people the process here in getting through to the planes was VERY long, almost missed the flight and was there directly from ship and had ship air.
