This was my first cruise and it definitely won’t be my last. To be honest, I was apprehensive after reading some of the reviews about Marella Dream but I needn’t have worried. Yes, the cabins may be a little dated but both they and the rest of the ship are spotless - the decor of the bars are modern and more up to date. The crew are exceptional- friendly, polite and very attentive- nothing is too much trouble. The excursions were great, well organised and ran like clockwork.I was impressed with the food too - the all inclusive buffet was tasty and I didn’t feel the need to upgrade the drinks package as the house wine was fine, and the regular branded whiskey, gin and brandy were part of the package , as was prosecco by the glass. The Kora La and Mistrals restaurants were fantastic and well worth the additional supplement. I loved the nightly shows in the Broadway lounge - great entertainment with a talented cast - not cheesy at all, just very talented. We spoke to a few people on board who were regular cruisers and they talked about bigger and more modern cruise ships but, for me, I really liked the charm of this ship - there is nothing I was unhappy with. I loved this ship, the crew and the holiday - would definitely recommend.

Cabin Review

Cabin Premier

Bit dated decor wise but spotless, comfy and very clean. Candy, our cabin crew cleaner, was brilliant.
