We selected this cruise based on the destinations. We did our research beforehand and knew it was an older ship with mixed reviews. Our overall experience was good; staff was friendly and helpful, food was ok, entertainment was limited (luckily, we like trivia nights!), ports and excursions were a bit pricey but worth the time and money.
We traveled with our adult son and had two rooms. His room was an oceanview stateroom and ours was a spacious oceanview stateroom. While ours cost a bit more, the rooms were exactly the same size! Either he got a better room for less money or we were overcharged for ours. That being said, the rooms were clean, neat, and functional. I like a firm bed, so that was comfortable for us.
My two complaints that I would like to see remedied:
Neat, clean, functional. Small, but not unlike other cruise ships.
We did our own tour of Key West. Purchased tickets for the Old Town Trolley on our own prior to the trip. Visited the Hemingway House. It was a holiday week, so it was quite crowded, but pleasant.
