Our travel agent recommended this trip. A river cruise had long been on my bucket list and this seemed like the perfect timing: both hubby and I had a milestone birthday this year. We loved the intimacy. With the small number of passengers, we got to know almost everyone. The food was outstanding as was the wait staff. We enjoyed the on-board entertainers and the well-organized shore tours. We enjoyed time sitting atop the ship while watching the beautiful scenery as we passed by. Happy hour was one of our favorite times; we enjoyed well-made drinks and had time to visit with new friends. The tour guides spoke good English, which was a positive. We liked that we each had personal listening devices, so it was easy to hear the guides at all times. All in all, this was our best vacation ever! We hope to take another similar tour soon.
