My Mom chose this trip. I didn't really care for all the "at sea days". This was my third cruise and it was the best embarkation we experienced. Carnival had made changes and it went very smoothly. We decided on a inside cabin this trip and was pleasantly surprised.*( I do not recommend staying on the 6th floor over the clubs...live and learn.) The room was very spacious and comfy..you're only there to sleep and shower, so I say save the extra money for excursions. The ship is nice I liked the adult pool, had to get there extra early to get a chair a lot of people were putting towels out to save chairs and it got so bad staff had to start reclaiming chairs. So far the Sunshine is my favorite ship just because of the 3 level Serenity decks! No complaints on the food...measured up to recent ships. The staff was amazing, best so far! Our favorite port was Grand Truk definitely recommend snorkeling with the sting rays. We did Catamaran in St. Maarten with snorkeling, we took a taxi to a beach in St. Kitts I think it was like $7 each way per person, in Puerto Rico we just got off boat and took a bus tour of the city! We are booked on this ship again for next cruise because of school calendars.
