Just got off the cruise. Was actually quite good. Cabin had great bathroom, excellent water pressure, plenty of storage. Food in buffet area was better and a lot more variety than the traditional restaurants. No formality anywhere ( which we loved) - so did not have to dress a certain way to eat anywhere. The piano bar ( headliners) has a FANTASTIC trio of piano players ( Rob, Patty and Steve) but the rest of the entertainment was not great.

The ports we went to were pretty great ( and we had great weather)- but the hop on/ hop off buses are the best cheapest route for excursions. You can’t do this in Russia tho ( we booked an excursion with Alla Tours and saved about $100 off of ship prices for tours and we were with a group of 15- so infinitely better than a bus load). They give you a specific ( Later time) to exit the ship when you aren’t on a Norwegian excursion- but you can go down earlier ( we didn’t know this and didn’t get to our tour till 10 am)- so don’t follow their rules!!
