We cruise a lot but this was our first with Viking. First the pros: outstanding pre-cruise in Prague. Excellent hotel(Marriott), attentive Viking staff at hotel, excellent walking tour. Excursions on ship were excellent! Our cabin attendant was beyond outstanding. Loved all ports.

Cons: We booked 4 months out so had to take one of the two cabins left. Our cabin, 105, was miserable. We never had a good night's sleep because we heard every flush made on the ship day and night. On top of that the pipes groaned loudly after each flush. We used a sound machine, pillows, etc but couldn't cover up the sound. My husband complained to the captain and the concierge. Both told him they couldn't do anything about the pipes. On top of that, my husband developed food poisoning after the first night, he was quite ill and missed several excursions. We talked with at least three other people who also fell ill while on the boat. In all of our years cruising, neither of us has ever gotten ill. I have never written a review before but people need to be aware that this cabin has problems. The fact that the staff did nothing to makes us more comfortable was a huge disappointment.
