We chose this cruise as a taste tester to see if we liked and could handle cruising. Being our first experience we went with an open mind. We got a cabin on Deck 5 toward the front of the ship. Our Room Stewart Martin was great, serviced our room well.
The meals/food on the ship were great. I particularly liked the Waterfront Restaurant. Meals there were nicely presented and tasted good. Although I must say many of the staff working here seemed either overworked or just plain disinterested in being there. There was no friendly chat and/or jokes/performances like I had been told they do on other cruiseliners friends and family had been on. We ate at The Pantry a couple of times and some of the choices here were good, others, not so. I guess it is whatever floats your boat!
We did eat one night at the Salt Grill. Great food and excellent service from our drinks waiter!
