As a couple that has primarily sailed with Princess (on a variety of its ships), and our most recent sailing however on Celebrity. We were expecting Princess's usual high standards, we were wrong.
The embarkation in Singapore should have given us a clue of what to expect, the check-in process was disorganized and unnecessarily complicated, service staff standing around with random staff yelling at customers to follow the confusing signage around the check-in areas. The check-in agent made an error and removed one of us as the authorized user of the credit card (which lead to a long line up at Passenger Services later on to resolve with representatives that barely spoke English).
Boarding the ship was a slow process as well, as customers were being forced into a single line to board so that you would have to take a "boarding picture" with staff.
Small cabin, small and enclosed balcony. Although the bed was very comfortable, the room was very tired and worn. Poor water pressure in shower, with little cold water.
Great city to explore, arrived several days before the cruise to experience Singapore.
Tendered at this port, and transferred to shore at a very busy port. Harassed by locals after leaving the port area. Not too much to see locally, mostly a tourist beach area, frequented by Russian and mainland Chinese tourists.
