We chose Carnival as we have cruised with them three times before. We chose this particular cruise as we were visiting friends in Singapore. We stayed there for six days before boarding.

It actually seemed very disorganised boarding in Singapore. Usually we don't have a problem. Also a lot of problems with missed luggage and missing luggage tags (that were well attached to bags in a lot of cases we were told about). Don't know what the problem was but I suspect it was the handling in the port. As we didn't leave port until after 9:00pm that night (very late), and that was down to everything not being loaded on the ship in time, I would say the luggage problem was caused by the baggage handlers in port.
