We had heard many good things about the Ruby Princess and my son and his extended family took it a year ago. We had a tremendous trip as they did a year ago. The ship was about like a five star hotel that vibrated and rocked. It was luxurious. Our cabin was C742 which came with a nice-sized balcony about 10 ft. by 10 ft. at the port side back corner at the stern. It was an excellent location.
The stateroom, C742, far exceeded my expectations. The space is a genius of compact space design. The division between shower, bathroom, closet, room, and balcony were perfect. the decor was extremely pleasant and the soundproofing total. The steward, Eddie, kept it spotless during the entire voyage.
Concerning the bed, it was the best I have ever slept on whether in 5-star hotels or home or motels. Absolutely superb. Princess can indeed be proud of this accomplishment. I would have preferred pillows about half the size and a soft small one for roaming at night. I do not understand the design of the heavy duvet cover and would have preferred a couple of lighter blankets instead.

The temperature control and ventilation were top notch and much appreciated.
