We went on this cruise chosen by our travel agent. We enjoyed the smoothness of the ship sailing on the ocean. Each day had activities to enjoy. We enjoyed the shore excursions. We got to see whales, seals, and eagles. We visited native Alaskan village, and enjoyed their native dances, wood carvings, art, and totem poles. We enjoyed seeing the blue ice of the glacier. We enjoyed the activities on the ship, especially the interactive dancing. We enjoyed the shows featuring "The Beatles" and the play The Jersey Boys. We live in New Jersey and it was nice to experience the longer daylight hours, and the west coast. We enjoyed the restaurants, especially the sit down restaurants where meals were made to diet specifications. The Garden Café was exciting where you could sample all types of food, from varied cultures. The cabins were immaculate and the crew were extremely friendly. Guest Services, Shore Excursions, and Internet Café were outstanding in quick and friendly service. This was my wife and my first cruise, and it was so nice that we are considering taking a cruise again among our future vacation possibilities. Kudos to Norwegian Cruise Line.

The cabin was neat, clean, with daily essentials. As this was our first cruise, we probably will upgrade if we take another cuise. The room was slightly too cold even with the thermometer all the way up,but we were able to adjust our clothing to remain comfortable.

We were never able to get anyone to answer when we dialed 00, but we compensated by going directly to guesst services. We were not able to use our cell phone on the ship which cut us off somewhat from our group leader where we missed the group photo, but my wife and I are senior citizens and not savvy with cell phone usage. Our room steward was very friendly and would always greet us with a friendly hello, even when she saw us outside of the ship. Once we needed a bar of soap and that was immediately remedied by guest services The first day we did not have a full box of facial tissue, but we had an adequate supply each day thereaafter. We were favorable impressed by the towels shaped into animals and were inspired to watch the demonstration of this technique in the Atrium. So our overall rating of the cabin is excellent.
