We traveled with a group of friends and one of them is a school teacher so we could only book something during the summer months. After reviewing several options we ended up booking this cruise because of the length of the cruise and the itinerary. Norwegian was also offering the Free at Sea packages which was a plus.

The embarkation process in Barcelona was very smooth and easy. No issues there. It was easy because people get on in either Rome or Barcelona, so there is not a mass exodus or mass amount of people getting on in either port.

Upon arriving on the ship we headed to get lunch and ended up at the Irish Pub. Service was painfully slow, but we were a group of 10 and it was a transition day so I didn't think too much of it at the time. Several couples in the group ate there at other times throughout the week and had the same experience with slow service.
