We were a family group of 12 adults from NY & Boston. We chose this cruise based on the departure port and ports of call. It was affordable and the departure port was easy to get to.
We all did our online check in so once at the pier we were on the ship in a few minutes. We arrived by 11am and on the ship by 11:30am. Staff was great from the start.
WJ was packed so we headed to the Cafe Promenade for lunch.
Roomy, comfy, clean and quiet.
We hopped in a taxi for $4 per person and headed to Paradise Island (Cabbage Beach). We were dropped off by the public access location and it was very crowded. We walked up the beach to a less crowded area. We rented an umbrella but were harrassed by locals looking to rent loungers and asking if we wanted to do any water sports. It was bad but once we said no thank you, they eventually left us alone. We had been to this beach before and had never seen it this bad or crowded. Once we were ready to leave, there were a lot of taxi's available.
