We chose this cruise due the lower cost and shorter length of cruise for a quick vacation. Our first experience with Norwegian was last year on the Escape. Of course this ship is much smaller so that took a little getting used to. There were some elevators that did not go to all decks and some decks that you could not go all the way forward on. Also the layout was a bit quirky with placement of restaurants but we quickly got used to it. The food was pretty good but I felt that the buffet was limited due to smaller size. For breakfast and lunch be sure to try out the outside buffet for best food options. The exterior of the ship itself is beautiful. It seems to just slice through the waves effortlessly and was very quiet. Most of the time you could barely tell we were moving. I had really expected more motion due to smaller size. We loved our balcony cabin and actually felt is was nicer and had more room than on the Escape. I am very sold on Norwegian. They have great staff and really know how to keep people moving. The embarkation and debarkation were a breeze. I continue to be very impressed with how well everything seems to run on these ships with so many passengers. The ship was extremely clean and in good order. If i had any complaint it would be that we should have went for a longer cruise! The ports were great and we enjoyed our excursions. Once again we took advantage of the "Cruise next" free money by buying advance deposits. Lastly, I had expected the entertainment to be less than a larger ship. That is NOT the case. The "Rock You Tonight" show is awesome and on par or better than we saw on the Escape. I absolutely recommend this cruise!
The cabin was great! It had plenty of storage and felt roomy. The balcony was very nice as well.It has a very small shower is my only complaint.
Very nice island. We should have listened to other reviewers and went as far down the beach as possible to avoid crowds. Good food and well laid out area.
