We wanted to see Budapest and we love Amsterdam. It just fit our plans and then exceeded them. The Bragi crew is outstanding—service and friendliness. They immediately recognize you, know your preferences and are helpful but not intrusive. The ship is easily maneuverable and attractive. Our excursions, overall, were enjoyable and informative. They are definitely well orchestrated. We only dined one night in the main dining room. We found the intimacy of the Aquafit (sp) area perfect for us. Several excursions were memorable, such as riding bicycles through the windmills and the Rhineland castle. We are already planning two ocean cruises with Viking and would like to do the lower Danube cruise also. Annamarie was a blessing. We are having trouble thinking of a cruise without her. She made our cruise experience exceptional. The organization of the shore excursions was remarkable. Really appreciated the quiet box as Steve is a little hard of hearing and he could hear everything at all times.
