Chose this cruise because my older kids 21 & 19 have never been on cruise, been to miami/bahamas so this was our xmas gift. January 2018 sailing date. Left from Miami, only a 3 night cruise was to go to coco cay - however had to miss the port due to high wind and choppy waters, so it went right to nassau instead. Sad we missed coco cay however got to experience senior frogs where we absolutely had a blast-especially my 19 yo daughter lol. Was easy to find at night no hesitation as other patrons were walking around town as well. The next day we had an excursion to blue lagoon island booked to swim with sea lions and it was fabulous - highlight of a lifetime.

The ship---our room was adequate inside cabin for 3 ppl, used the pullman since we had 3 adults. We were not there to spend time in room so it was totally acceptable. We all thought the food in the windjammer buffets were fine, same ole buffet foods - nothing spectacular but as soon as we got on the ship around 11/12 we were able to enjoy lunch. Each night, we ate in the main dining room with reservations/any time seating. We had our own table had a fantastic server and helpers, we asked to be seated in section, and tipped them. You don't have to tip, but its courteous and they do treat you a bit better, lets face it. Pool area was difficult to find open seats for the 3 of us and my kids were always on a different timeline than me but we had fun. It was a bit windy and a little chilly as well in January. My kids actually made use of the daily schedule given each day as well as listed on the tv. We went to an earlier comedy show the first sailing night, and then went back later for the second seating bc it was going to be the rated R version. He was actually loads of fun. Our first night however, was a little trying, choppy seas you could feel the ship rock and had to be mindful of walking etc. Some ppl even got sick in common areas and the workers were always diligent of cleaning it up. My kids then would also find other fun things like game shows and interactive games, dancing, singing etc. We mostly stayed together but they would go off on their own on occasion. The late night "club" was a little boring we found no excitement but my kids enjoyed the solarium and late night snacks, chips and salsa and pizza!!!!! All about the food for them. Our disembarkment day was sad, because vaca was over, but it was orderly. I took my bill and got in line early to square up and we departed with ease. I had transportation scheduled and they even called before we left to let us know where they'd be. This is a smaller ship easy to maneuver and find your way around. I absolutely loved it.
