Having never been on a river cruise before, I was not keen but my girlfriend in Australia suggested we meet up in Paris and enjoy the cruise together as a reunion.

I was concerned as it was expensive but encouraged by the way it was organised as all inclusive of trips, meals,drinks and entertainment plus the normal expected service on board.

In addition I was given personal transport to the airport from home in an executive car and the use of an airport lounge to relax and have breakfast before the flight to Paris where I was taken to join the ship and meet my friend with her son. Read more
