We wanted an experience that was less commercial than other large cruise lines and one which would allow us to truly experience all tha the Norwegian coast has to offer. We got exactly what we wanted and wouldn’t have changed a thing. Beautiful spacious accomodations (we stayed in a quad), ample lounge areas and high quality, delicious food. The service was impeccable and we became very friendly with all service staff. Our kids were invited to the Young Explorers program which enriched their understanding of the Norwegian culture and environment. The food was fresh and delicious, and there was a story that accompanied each dish we were served. While this cruise is not for everyone in the fact that there was no formal entertainment, it was exactly what we were looking for. It was an experience we will cherish forever and truly feel like any other vacation would be unmatched!
