Excellent experience on this ship! The service from the stateroom attendant, to the dining attendants, as well as the guest service agents at the port was outstanding. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly. The entertainment on board was fantastic, and family-friendly. There was a variety of things for everyone to do. However, we felt the youth program on board for ages 9-11 was not that great. Our daughter felt the program was really geared toward younger children. Our teenage son thought the teen program was “just ok”, and only participated one day. I overheard another parent say their 12 year old felt the program wasn’t that great and didn’t want to participate either. It’s a hard age to please!! But our kids really liked the pool, which is surprising because it was very small. Our kids also enjoyed the family-friendly comedy acts on board. And thankfully we brought Uno cards for them to stay entertained when not in the pool (bring something for your kids to do - cards, game, etc - to keep them busy during down time). Remember you have to pay for WiFi if you want internet access, so unless you pay extra for that.. no cell phones!!! Which I thought was great - actually having a conversation with my teenager was SO nice! ;)

We went to the Blue Lagoon Beach in Nassau. There was a cost associated to go to that beach (which included lunch), and once there, they had available: hair braiding, aqua bikes to ride, animal interactions, an aqua park for kids, kayaking, and a few other things...BUT everything you do on the island cost extra!! We also went to CocoCay Beach, which is owned by RCCL, and it didn’t cost extra to go to that beach, however everything you do at the beach cost extra. We took a snorkeling excursion from CocoCay, which was incredible!!!

Cabin J3

Our stateroom included 1 king bed with a double pull out sofa. It was so much nicer than I had envisioned!!! Lots of room, and having the balcony was such a plus and really added to the overall enjoyment. Our room had a large column in the middle of it... wasn’t a big issue, but next time definitely want a room without it!
