My husband and I really chose this cruise because due to work we had to choose our dates and THEN our cruise. Luckily it was between Norwegian and Royal Caribbean and we chose Royal due to better reviews. I am very glad we did, as we had a wonderful time. Entertainment was really good, food was delicious, and service was exceptional. I didn’t give 5 stars for a few reasons, none of which were trip ruiners. There was a large group of girls celebrating quincinerea, by large I mean 300. They were everywhere and monopolizing the pools. The adults only Solarium was not enforced to be adults only, and often late nights the ship went from 6 hot tubs to 3, despite demand for use. The stateroom was in need of some deep cleaning, and upgrading. It was clean enough but I am picky, and the phone was caked in years of something. Broken cabinets, and chipped counter tops. Showers are not made with tall women in mind. Shaving was like hot yoga! When booking online, the sunset cruise was advertised as being a catamaran, which upon receiving our tickets, it indicated that it may be a glass bottom boat OR a catamaran. Obviously it was a glass bottom boat... not super excited about that, but still the tour was great and the view was wonderful. Now, Chops Grille was fabulous! We used that reservation as our date night and it sure felt like it. Overall, despite hiccups, we had a great time!
Was larger than I anticipated, and the balcony was nice and spacious as well. Needs some updating for sure, and in need of “attention to detail” type deep cleaning.
