Sail Date: May 2018
Cabin: Veranda Stateroom

Regardless of which direction the ship was sailing, the scheduling of the ports of call was outstanding. The inclusion of the Russian history coordinated with the ports of call and the individual sites being visited added to the quality of the tours in ways that are just now becoming clear to us. It was easily imaginable to envision the sweep of history regarding each of the locales.

Regarding the local tour guides, they were very knowledgeable, were able to put what was being described and seen into historical and geographic context and seperately they were very considerate of the physical limitations of the tour group.

With respect to the onboard ship services that were offered, they were outstanding, the food exquisite and the evening entertainment engaging. The ship's staff was not only helpful, respectful and polite, they were friendly, engaged and it created a sense of sincere sadness when the cruise was at an end.
