Our dining experience was first rate. Excellent food (except the Chicken Cordon Blue was terrible). The waiters were wonderful. We took 4 excursions. Day 1 was Portland & Kennebunkport. The scenery was beautiful and we saw President Bush’s family compound. We shopped in the local gift shops and that was fun. The tour guide suggested we have lobster rolls & whoopie pies for lunch, which they are famous for. We found them at a street vendor stand & they were excellent. On day 2 we took a “Victorian Tour”. It wasn’t a good tour at all. We ate at Paddy’s & it was fantastic, esp the blueberry pie! Day 3, at St. Martin’s we visited an Irish pub & ate fish chowder at a local restaurant. Day 4 we went to Halifax & Peggy’s Cove, so beautiful. Also, Forrest Lawn Cemetery where Titanic victims are buried. It was a great tour. The ship was beautiful and we really enjoyed the comedian/piano player in the Scooner Bar. The guitar player in the pub was very enjoyable and we liked the ice skaters and the Love and Marriage Game. The late night adult comedian was really good and we also enjoyed the RC singers and dancers.
Everything was fine except the bathroom had a STRONG smell of urine.
