Husband had always wanted to go to Normandy and we had never been to Paris. We were pleasantly surprised when we got to our ship. The staff was there to get us settled in. Our cabin was very clean and efficient. Dining was a very good experience. We enjoyed the food and getting to join other couples on the trip. The service was excellent. All of our excursions were well planned and the tour guides and bus drivers were very good. Especially enjoyed the head tour director who informed us every evening as to what to expect the next day. He was very entertaining. Our trip with Viking was one of the best experiences anyone could have had. Viking did not disappoint. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and they made our vacation one of the best. We certainly would consider sailing with Viking River Cruises again.
