We are regular ocean cruisers, but were hesitant about river cruise, wondering what it was like, whether it would be too small etc. This review will cover the excellent and maybe some other aspects you may wish to consider.

We traveled on the Danube, joining the Destiny at Budapest and finishing at Passau.

We had a lower cabin with restricted view. We flew back via Munich.

Cabin Review

Cabin was fair size, very clean, with bottled water supplied. Toilets were satisfactory and very good shower. The ship is quite new so not tired in any way. No British plug sockets, so bring EU plug adaptors. There is a three pin flat mains available as well.

Port Reviews

Linz (Salzburg)

A surprising interesting place for a day! Could spend more time here. Old town very pleasant and various historical sites to see.

Vienna

free evening musical and dance event- excellent.
