This was a group travel with two dozen friends. We had done two prior Viking River Cruises - the Rhine and Danube - which were more interesting than the Bordeaux Region but we enjoyed this one nonetheless. Our cruise director, Guillame, was the best we'd ever had and the food, with the exception of one really bad rib eye, was top notch. We didn't lack for adult beverages and the quality was very good.

I took a water color class and have a nice souvenir from our voyage.

The only major disappointment was the substandard WiFi. In the past we'd always had decent signal strength in our cabin. This time we had to go to the lobby and if we got a signal at all, it maxed out at 1.4 mps. Uploading a single photo to Facebook just took too long to make it practical.
