This cruise was a part of an escorted tour. The cruise was a circumnavigation of Britain, plus Cork, Dublin, Belfast, St Peter Port and Le Harve.
Being an organised tour, we took no Princess tours.
Embarkation. This was from Southampton. We can only compare this to Sydney, Aust. It seemed like an organised chaos. Waiting times to get to the checkin desk exceeded an hour. There was also issues with boarding the boat adding to the wait. The service staff were good though. A thumbs down for embarkation. As things went though the bags were at the cabin really quickly
For a standard balcony cabin, it was actually pretty good, except that there is a very limited drawer space. 2 smallish drawers. The wardrobe space is good, but as on a cruise you do not bring a great deal of hanging clothes, Princess would be better off taking a small amount of space and installing sliding baskets / drawers. A much better usage of space.
Bathroom is a standard small multifunctional facility but you do not feel hemmed in.
The balcony is small but functional. The door to the balcony was always an issue. Mighty hard to open the door after it has been locked.
